Consider homelessness before renting off this organisation. They don’t have a single care for their tenants they are only after your money. We moved in with broken fences, unsealed showers amoungst a large number of other issues. Maintenance take months to respond to “emergencies” and you’re treated like a second class citizen when requesting their help. We have all photograph proof so fought them on our bond as they tried to hold us accountable for the previous tenants damage though they were notified multiple times! Keep your own record and be very vigilant before moving in as they will try and charge you for all they can. Property managers are unresponsive. Seriously consider a private rental before this company as the stress and lack of execution to their properties leaves you with problem after problem.

Horrible horrible environment, staff are utterly incompetent even if they ever gave a damn! Rules are only for some tenants, no security no safety! 2 years of 'excellent' quarterly inspections and then when you move out suddenly its beyond repair..... In other words we'll just keep your bond (that they illegally don't keep with Bond Admin Auth) and illegally keep a key deposit after keys returned! The absolute scum won't even tell you this, after weeks of enquiring they'll finally admit that they're keeping the monies due to 'costs' . Absolutely ludicrous

Good staff, they also did a full renovation on my place and put me in the (best western) hotel in northbridge for 2 weeks when the renovations got done, if you keep everything tidy and you don't smoke inside nor damage anything (otherwise it's your responsibility) then you should be fine, and they will take care of you and treat you well aslong as you follow the rules of the tendency agreement, don't break the rules, and keep your place in prestine condition from the time you moved in or after a renovation, then they won't burden you, and they won't take your bond money, they will only do so if they see new damages that you caused and they will make you homeless if you don't follow the tendency agreement, remember if you smoke inside, that your walls and ceilings will turn yellow...and regardless of you stop smoking for 2 weeks inside to air it out before an inspection...remember that they will have pictures of the walls and see that it's not pearly white but more between white and yellow. My previous landlord was Mariska and my current landlord after Miriska left is now Gemma, both of them are the most kindest landlords I have ever met, and if there is a problem i caused on my end, I would ensure that I will fix it with my money. At the end of the day, if you put the effort in your home and clean it and show love and pride in your home, then you will have no issues, especially if you follow the tendency agreement rules and you read your rights as the person renting. All the bad reviews I saw for foundation, I don't believe in your words, because I think you guys are the reason why you put yourself in that position with foundation housing. You only have to follow the rules, and there is a step by step of how you clean your place, I'm 22 years of age and I have been living in my unit under foundation since I was 17 years old, and never once I had a problem and I usually wouldn't get a rent inspection on for an entire year, because i clean everything, even dust, vacuum and mop, only you put the effort in, I only ever had a 6 month rent inspection for two reasons, because before the renovation, my place was 'A' mess and I accepted that it was my fault, and the 2nd reason is because of the new renovation, to ensure I keep everything as it was from the renovation, I'm 22, and I used to have carer's from mosaic see me, but no I independently don't need help, cause I can take care of myself independently, and if your older then me, then grow tf up and deal with it, you're adults, not kids. From Sasha Hadfield of the Shenton Park area. And thanks Scott and Ria for the renovation, it is certainly life changing :)Most of you who live in really old homes will get a renovation one day aswell, but you just have to be patient until you are on the list...but regardless..that doesn't mean you make your place look like a dump.

Staff turn a blind eye to drugs, violence and crime. Theyre only interest is charging ridiculous rents for bug infested properties and kicking out tenants who complain. Or intimidating them into vacating so they can steal their bond for fictious cleaning costs. They never reply to messages or emails. The staff at times are so utterly incompetent its almost amusing.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I was homeless, living in a tent and Foundation Housing found me and the dog a great home with a large garden.I had a stroke and arranging hand rails was easy.Ann my landlord even sent me an inspirational card which arrived on my birthday.Homeswest still own the property which I bear in mind when seeking maintenance.
